Business Analyst

Part Time - Full Time

Good Hotel is looking for a talented Business Analyst/ Controller/ Financial Hero! Are you a strong analytical mastermind, an entrepreneurial go-getter, committed to deliver best in class results? And would you like to help advance the long-term strategy of a trailblazing Social Business? Then we are looking for you!

Good Group is looking for an experienced and ambitious Business Analyst / Controller (0.5 to 1 FTE) to take our organisation to the next level and support in growing our business and social impact. You have strong experience in a Business Analyst / Controller role or other senior administrative role. You are action oriented, have strong analytical skills. You are driven by values and purpose, and though you love building a strong business and look at the results, you consider profit a means, not an end. You are a natural leader, with a strong personality and with excellent communication skills. You love to work within a team, and combine this with a strong sense of prioritisation and solution orientation. You oversee the business and financial operations and feel comfortable with taking responsibility for the economic and financial performance.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the hotel operations on financial / administrative processes (standard setting / coaching / brainstorming)

  • Manage controlling / financial processes from the group / holding level

  • Ensure that all of our legal entities comply with financial reporting / tax regulations and manage the day to day

    contact with our external accountants

  • Support the business and the senior management of the Group in investor and stakeholder management and

    reporting

  • Support in preparing business cases for potential new hotels

  • Support in measuring our social impact and donations to charities.

Head of Investment & Development 

Part Time - Full Time

Location: Amsterdam

Start date: ASAP

Are you an ambitious leader with an entrepreneurial mindset and a solid background in real estate, finance and/or project development? Would you like to help advance the long-term strategy of a trailblazing Social Business? Then we are looking for you!

Good Group is looking for a Head of Investment & Development to roll out our growth strategy and take the GOOD GROUP to the next level. You have strong experience in Project Development and Investment Relations roles. You are action oriented, have strong negotiation and financial modelling skills. You are driven by values and purpose, and though you love building a strong business and look at the results, you consider profit a means, not an end. You are a natural leader, with a strong personality and with excellent communication skills, who is confident to present and pitch at a board-level. You love to work within a team, and combine this with a strong sense of prioritisation and solution orientation. You have the ability to assess and evaluate real estate investment opportunities quickly, and experience in structuring equity and debt financing deals. You are proud to represent the unique Good Hotel proposition towards external partners, such as developers, investors and public bodies (such as municipalities and local planning authorities).

Key responsibilities 

  • Generating leads and developing real estate opportunities in the market on behalf of Good Hotel.

  • Analysing and comparing the different models and scenarios available.

  • Designing the investment strategy, refining exciting investment facilities and developing new ones where required.

  • Managing existing and developing new investor relations, both HNWIs and on an institutional level.

  • Leading the due diligence and negotiations affiliated with new hotel deals.

  • Closing the deals and handing them over to the Construction and Design Department.

  • Building an Investment & Development team around you.

  • Must have excellent English written and verbal language skills. Dutch language also highly desirable.

Project Manager

Full Time

Location: London or Amsterdam

Key responsibilities

  • Communicate project updates to the construction team and operational team

  • Manage design and engineering improvements of existing hotels

  • Communicate with partners, suppliers and contractors

  • Work within an international development team

  • Assist in concept development and execution

  • Conduct desk research, explore opportunities

  • Must possess excellent organisational and leadership skills

  • Must be fluent in English and Dutch, with excellent written and verbal communication skills

Office Manager

Part Time

Location: Amsterdam

Start date: May 2019

Are you a great organiser, with strong administrative skills and a flair for leading and motivating teams? A multi-tasker, with an eye for detail and a hands-on mentality? And would you like to ensure the smooth running of an office on a day-to-day basis of a trailblazing Social Business? Then we are looking for you!

Good Group is looking for an Office Manager who can support the administrative side of the GOOD GROUP and help us grow to the next level.You have excellent organisational skills and time management skills. You are action oriented, able to prioritise tasks and work under pressure. You are reliable and discrete, with a strong personality and with excellent communication, negotiating and relationship-building skills. You love to work within a team, and combine this with a strong sense of solution orientation. You have a passion for creating a lively atmosphere at the office and speak both English and Dutch.

Key responsibilities

  • Handle and process financial administration, with support of our bookkeepers

  • Record office expenditure and manage the budget

  • Organise meetings and events

  • Attend and chair meetings with senior management

  • Coordinate travel arrangements (domestic and international) of staff

  • Support CFO with creating legal documents and labor agreements

  • Overall agenda management

  • Organise office layout

  • Must possess excellent organisational and leadership skills

  • Must be fluent in English and Dutch, with excellent written and verbal communication skills

Head Chef

Full Time

The role of Good Hotel London’s Head Chef is a great opportunity for an ambitious and results-orientated individual to join our organisation at the early stages of growth and create strong foundations for all future projects.

This role suits an individual who is flexible, well organised, possess excellent communication skills, can work on their own initiative as well as motivating others, has a genuine desire to work in the hospitality industry, and someone who is looking for a structured career path.

Key responsibilities

  • Create and implement rigid cost controls across breakfast, lunch and dinner activities

  • Assist wider management team with meeting compliance and other legal requirements, with particular focus to Saeker’s Food Safety

  • Control and direct the food preparation process and any other relative activities

  • Controlling agreed menu GP levels

  • Creating and implementing procedures and policies for the kitchen team

  • Developing our internal talent

  • Ensuring food safety and hygiene is managed to high standards and meets all UK laws and regulations

  • Maintain high standards of sanitation, cleanliness and safety in the food and beverage areas.

  • Overall responsibility of kitchen operation

  • Recruiting, supporting, developing and managing your own team

  • Reporting go wider management team within agreed timeframes (e.g. weekly management meetings)

  • Responsible for creating and preparing all menus

  • Responsible for managing your team’s payroll and other staff-related costs

  • Responsible for purchasing and stocking of all food items.

  • Tracking expenditures and costs for kitchen department.

  • Working with F&B Manager, developing sales food strategy and executing it with premium quality
