All business should be social business

Premium Hospitality with a Cause

We believe in people. It’s actually that simple.

We want to redefine the model of how business is done – combining doing business with doing good – with a best in class guest experience at the core, and founded Good Hotel Group.

We are a non– dividend company built on entrepreneurial spirit, and the belief that one day, all business should be sustainable and give back to the communities they are in.

The world of music is ever growing and evolving, and we’re not just talking about sound trends. With the consistent introduction of varying revenue streams and distribution channels, the opportunity for profit grows, but so does the complexity. That’s where we come in.

GUATEMALA | ANTIGUA

The way people consume entertainment is constantly in flux, so the laws must adapt quickly. Harris Ingram strives to anticipate these changes so you can focus more on creating the performance of a lifetime.

2020 PLAN

The internet, software, and technology are so pervasive that we can’t remember having ever lived without them. They make our lives simpler, but behind the curtain are fluctuating challenges in protection and monetization—challenges that our firm stays two steps ahead of.

TRAIN UNEMPLOYED FOR SUCCESS

The Good Training program offers long–term unemployed locals custom–made hospitality training and the chance to build a new future.

STIMULATE LOCAL BUSINESS

Good Hotels are rooted in the local community. Ingredients, materials and labour are all locally sourced from small business owners and craftsmen.

EDUCATING CHILDREN

The profits of Good Hotel are invested in the education of children of low–income families living in the mountain villages around Antigua, Guatemala.

We’re not a charity – we’re a profit for non-profit business. We focus on self sustainability to create real, long-term change.

Good Training

Good Training is a customary training program developed by the Good Hotel Group. Trainees are recruited locally and are offered a chance for a new future. Whether they are long-term unemployed, single illiterate moms or come from disadvantaged communities, the focus is on self-development and offering them the knowledge and tools to become true hospitality professionals.

During Good Hotel's pop-up year in Amsterdam, we followed some of our trainees while the Good Training program sets them up for success. Follow Chaveli & some of her fellow trainees in their personal journey, moving out of unemployment.

PART 1: A CHANCE FOR A NEW FUTURE

Good Hotel invited 25 unemployed ‘Amsterdammers’ looking for a new chance & trained them for a new future in hospitality.

PART 2: THE FIRST CONTRACT

After the first 3 months of intensive training, the trainees are ready to take the next step. The hotel opens and Chavelli is the first trainee to receive a job offer.

PART 3: TOWARDS A JOB – THE MOVE

The first group of Good Trainees are ready to take their next step: the move towards their new job. The trainees took their chance for a new future.
